Boost B2B’s rebrand repositioned the company from a transaction processor to a strategic leader in modern B2B payments. While its technology and market presence were already strong, the brand needed to better communicate its value to finance leaders, suppliers, issuers, and partners.
Working from an existing style guide that had been established years earlier, I evolved and modernized the brand system while preserving the equity and recognition already associated with it. Using the original identity as a foundation, I refined the visual rules, typography, color usage, and supporting brand elements to create a more contemporary and elevated experience aligned with the company’s growth and future direction.
The design strategy focused on simplifying complex ideas through a structured, modular visual system that reflects how B2B payments flow and connect. Combined with updated messaging and a refined identity, the result is a cohesive, scalable brand that builds trust, improves clarity, and reinforces Boost as a leader in more efficient B2B commerce.
The logo, color palette, and typography were built from the existing brand guidelines, while new visual elements were introduced to modernize and expand the overall identity.
The color palette was chosen strategically to build trust and reinforce Boost’s purpose of modernizing B2B payment solutions. Confident, refined tones establish credibility and stability—key for enterprise finance audiences—while modern, forward-leaning accents signal innovation, momentum, and digital transformation. Together, the colors strike a balance between reliability and progress, positioning Boost as a trusted partner that is both proven today and built for what’s next.
Sk-Modernist has been designed specifically for the digital age, each letterform being optically adjusted using a mathematical system rather than the traditional typographers eye.
Avenir Next Pro is a new take on a classic face—it’s the result of a project whose goal was to take a beautifully designed sans and update it so that its technical standards surpass the status quo, leaving us with a truly superior sans family.
Boost Payment Solutions had strong industry credibility, but the existing brand and website felt dated compared to the sophistication of the company itself.
The original experience leaned heavily corporate — dense layouts, technical messaging, dark gradients, and crowded pages that prioritized information over usability. My goal was to modernize the brand without losing the trust and authority already associated with it.
I focused on simplifying the visual experience and creating a cleaner, more structured system.
The redesign introduced:
Stronger typography hierarchy
More intentional spacing and layout structure
A refined color palette
Cleaner UI patterns and navigation
More focused, digestible messaging
Where the previous brand felt overly technical and visually dense, the new direction emphasizes clarity, confidence, and usability.
Through simplified layouts, modular design patterns, and more focused messaging, the redesign helped surface the sophistication of the platform without overwhelming users with technical complexity.
The result is a brand experience that better reflects the scale and strategic value of the company while remaining intuitive across every touchpoint.
A major part of the redesign involved restructuring the website experience.
I simplified content flow, reduced visual clutter, and created more modular layouts that could scale across future pages and campaigns. Motion and interactions were kept subtle and purposeful to support usability rather than distract from it.
The result was a more modern digital experience that felt significantly more polished, approachable, and aligned with the company’s enterprise audience.
As part of the rebrand, I also redesigned the company’s email experience to create more consistency across customer touch points.
The previous emails felt heavily system-driven and visually disconnected from the rest of the brand. I introduced cleaner layouts, improved typography hierarchy, and more intentional spacing to make the content easier to scan and more aligned with the updated visual identity.
The goal was to make transactional and marketing communications feel more refined, modern, and cohesive with the overall digital experience.
The rebrand repositioned Boost Payment Solutions as a more contemporary fintech company while maintaining the trust and professionalism of the original brand.
Compared to the previous identity, the new system feels cleaner, more scalable, and far easier to navigate — creating a stronger connection between the company’s technology and how the brand is perceived.
